When we first arrived at the place look nice But the people that serve us where rude and disrespectful ask where the bathroom was got a hand out sat on the table was 5 of us we had to ask for service order 4 mezze and several other things as one of was was a vegan the Wheitres was miserable 😞 like her best friend died on the table no sign of any Cypriot hospitality a shame to the owners for having this place be in business. The food arrived was mediocre tarama stank is 1 star and below 👇. And for dessert we was ask to live the restaurant at 11:00 because the staff was waiting for us to go home shame on them. Grow up in the hospitality industry and am alway giving at least 10-15% tips but this time I just paid the bill and left very very disappointed shame to the island to have this tipe of restaurants we was famus for our hospitality and great food Mezze was out main attraction to our guests but this people have shame us close it down you...

We had a fantastic visit to the Herb Garden in Polis today. You can wander through the beautiful wild herb gardens where everything is clearly labelled with what it is and how it’s used. The scent from the mint, jasmine, basil, thyme and rosemary was absolutely intoxicating.

We stayed for lunch at the on-site restaurant which makes full use of the herbs grown there. I had the pork souvlaki, perfectly cooked and served with fried potatoes, chargrilled veg and a fresh herb dip. Odile had the falafel with a beetroot and walnut salad and her own herb dip, all delicious. We also shared a small village salad and a big bottle of Keo while sitting overlooking the gardens. It was a perfect, peaceful setting.

This is a very attractive restaurant with well spaced tables and friendly staff. It is backed by a beautiful herb garden,(hence the name). We have only visited once, mid afternoon weekday, there was only three customers including ourselves. From the time our order was taken we had to wait forty minutes for the food to arrive. The special burger in pitta bread was dry and burnt in places, the chips likewise dry and unpleasant. The herb garden salad with salmon had a beautiful and large portion of salmon, but very little salad indeed. It's hard to judge atmosphere considering it was virtually empty, but I can imagine, when busy, it would be very pleasant.
