La Terrasse 4 U — Restaurant in Polis Chrysochous

Food was very good, unfortunately our evening was destroyed by the barkeepers super impolite way of talking to us. The server asked us (7 People) to sit outside and turned on fans which were very loud and were blowing into our faces. After asking the people around us if it would be ok if we turned the fans off we turned them off. A couple minutes after that the barkeeper came and asked us why we turned them off without thinking of the other people and turned them back on. Then we friendly asked him if we could sit somewhere else. But again he was super unfriendly and told us if we manage to stop annoying the other guests we can do that. Which we managed to do. After eating and drinking we wanted to pay separate, which annoyed the barkeeper once again as we had to tell him before even sitting down that we had to pay separate (I have never even experienced such thing). The food ist good but I would not recommend it if you want to be in a good mood...

A very trendy cafe-bar right in the main square of Polis, where every restaurant is. Good for young people and for families. They offered nargile and they had a special section for those you smoked, so they wouldn't mingle with the families with small children. Excellent service, the owner was there and helped with the service and he made sure that every moment every single customer was happy. Special reference must be made for the waiter from Bulgaria, he's amazing. We went for drinks and I must recommend the cocktails. We stopped for lunch in Polis after hiking to waterfall in Kritou. We dined on the terrace which hat a heat fire lamp on. The server was helpful and pleasant and even typed in the WiFi password for me. We ordered a Geek salad to share and a pesto pasta and carbonara. Everything was fresh, homemade and delicious. At the end of the meal , our server brought a plate of complimentary fresh apples an pears sliced. The owner took time to check in with us to make sure we were happy with our meals.
