This is quite literally one of the best restaurants either I or my family have ever eaten at. We have eaten at hundreds if not thousands of places and the service, the atmosphere and the food are completely outstanding everytime. Andreas welcomes you like family and makes every minute of your evening feel special. We have returned to Polis everytime we have stayed to be on the receiving end of his hospitality, and it’s well worth it every time. The pasta dishes, the fish l, the steak- everything is superb. Authentic and cooked to perfection. The drinks are fantastically strong and the desserts are a delight. The avocado dip for the starter is genuinely mind blowing and I don’t even usually like avocado. Come here when you visit Polis. Come here if you visit anywhere in Cyprus. It feels like...

We did wait a little longer for the waiter to take our order and for the food to arrive, but the place was packed so fair enough. The food wasn't something special but it was decent. We had the pork chop and the pasta Bolognese. Overpriced - you can expect this in a touristic area but 15 euros for a Bolognese that's a lot.

A year latermI gave this place a second chance. The experience was underwhelming. The pork chop cost €16, but the portion was very small — definitely not worth the price. It came with pre-fried fries that felt more like something from a fast-food place.

Very mixed fillings. Nice welcome and quick attendance. Then....just go down. My wifes mill was ok. Maybe waiter did not listensd or it was chefs mistake, I got wrong steak...well. they fixed it very quickly and that might be the reason why it was undercooked on one side and overcooked on the other. I wouldn't mind to wait bit longer to get it the way I want it.any way that was great steak! Would eat it again but......and there it is.
