What a truly charming establishment with a miserable owner who looked like he got stung by a wasp! I recently visited this ice shop, hoping for a pleasant late-night treat with my four children. It was a bustling 10:30 PM, absolutely packed with... well, nobody!! The place was deader than a doornail, which, you'd think, would make it the perfect spot to briefly rest our weary feet. But no! Despite splurging on an "expensive crepe" (their words, not mine, though the price certainly suggested it was woven with gold thread) for my quartet of sugar-crazed offspring, I was sternly informed that sitting down was strictly forbidden. The reason? My heinous crime of possessing an ice cream from another shop. Imagine the audacity! How dare I bring a competitor's product into their sacred, empty space, even while generously patronizing their own offerings. I must commend their unwavering commitment to principle over common sense or customer comfort. It's truly inspiring to see such dedication to an arbitrary rule, even if it means alienating paying 'tourist' customers in an otherwise desolate shop. If you're looking for an ice cream experience that prioritizes rigid regulations over basic hospitality, and where your money is appreciated but your derriere is not, then this is absolutely the place...
Read moreThe outside of this pub does not do it justice. It's very nice inside and has a very nice patio area out the back with a pool table. The choice of background music was excellent, at least for my age !! The people running it are friendly and nice. It could be run more efficiently if some processes were put in place. Drinks choice are excellent, but if you order the same cocktail more than once, it's highly unlikely they will taste the same 😄. They own the ice cream shop opposite. They could do with a bell of some kind at the ice cream counter, because we saw people just leaving because the owners did not see them. UPDATE: Nice pool table but it needs to be levelled properly. The feet are adjustable 👍LATEST UPDATE: Been back a few times on the way to eating out or on way back to hotel. What you see is what you get, but I like it. By the way, it's a "wet" pub, no...

The football was on for my husband to watch and there is a pool table and seating out back. You can sit at the tables out front and watch passersby. The pricing was good for drinks and ice-cream and the two owners were lovely...
