The BlackPenny Coffee House & Kitchen

We have been coming to Black penny for the last 2 months on our visits to Cyprus and our first visit was good, but this time their waiters got changed. we had one old waiter who was there with us and we would always tip all the waiters in 100-200 lira for providing good service. initially they did. but then after that they just started insulting us. Today, we came there in the afternoon and the waiter would basically tell us that every comfortable table is reserved when we clearly saw that the cafe was empty.the waiter was not knowledgeable about anything. We asked him non- alcoholic drink. they would go and say oh we can't make this whereas their bartender actually said that yes he can make it but then also the waiter would come down and just be rude with us. After spending 2 hours there still tolerating the behavior and bad service we told them that okay we are going to go for dinner and then come back for the hookah please reserve a table for us. they promised that a good table will be reserved for us but then when we came back everything was booked. there was no table that was reserved and when we told them that we already made a reservation they said that oh sorry you know there is another person who just came down and sat and they could not move that other person. This is an example of a very bad service. We also own Woodstock cafes and other restaurants in countries like turkey and America we would never have tolerate such type of behavior from our employees they would immediately fire such people who would treat our customers so badly. we are never coming back to this Black...

♿⚠️ no wheelchair ramp but the outside setting area entrance is pretty low and the staff can always support. The food is really good here, I had a steak wrap daaym that wrap was fire, the cheese and seasonings could just make you forget all your stress. I love how the wrap bread was made. My friends had the hot buffalo wings which was good but quantity that much since it's just an appetizer, the BP Triple Tower burger was amazing I ended up finishing my friends meal since she couldn't finish it. I was giving a hot chocolate with milk which was immediately changed when I told them I wanted something to drink that's lactose free. Overall it was great place. The host and server were attentive. The eggs in the Eggs Benedict were completely solid, and I'm not a fan of hard-boiled eggs on Eggs Benedict. They also allow smoking in the main part of the restaurant, so it seems like it's impossible to get away from cigarette smoke. The pancakes were rock solid, so we wondered if they had been frozen and simply reheated. We've been here for lunch before and we enjoyed the meal, but we will skip this place for breakfast...
