Park Palace Hotel — Hotel in Girne Belediyesi

Stayed here in September 2017 and returning this year. Do not book through any online sites contact the hotel direct. |If you know North Cyprus this hotel is a good standard, big double bed, balcony, TV and decent bathroom. Breakfast is the usual local fare, cheese, eggs, salad, bread, olives, cold meats etc. Sometimes there is bacon, cooked eggs/omelettes.|Nice pool area which during my stay had a maximum of 12 guests, if you like peace and quiet? Only issues for me were the music being turned up around the pool when not requested (I figured out how to turn it down).|The bedding wasn't changed on a regular basis and there was a strange smell coming from the bathroom on occasions.|After all that I will be returning in September 2018 and looking forward to...

The hotel might have been nice, about 50 years ago. Some things look old and worn out, others have been fixed. Some things I noticed: room has controllable air conditioning there's a pool changing rooms by the pool are literally full of carbage. Good luck trying to fit there to change ur clothes slow wifi one of the worst showers I've had. No water pressure at all and temperature changes from boiling hot to freezing cold by itself bathroom water faucet is missing a part and sprays water everywhere. Asked them to fix it but seems they forgot there's a small fridge /freezer but the freezer part is frozen solid. It's just a Block of ice they often ran out of food during...

Our room was great. The general cleanliness was good. The cleaning staff were excellent and overworked. There was a very peaceful terrace. However, the staff were ill supervised and slovenly. The pool, toilets and changing rooms needed serious attention. They cleaned them once in the fortnight we were there and that was only after we asked. The usual chef was off and the relief didn't want to do the job so did it badly. We had fruit fly and ants with breakfast on several occasions.
