This restaurant is known for its buffet style service with a carvery, where you pay one price for the privilege to enjoy an all you can eat from all dishes experience Restaurant Flammen is one such restaurant which focus on their Calvary and meats (they offer 15 different choices at any evening setting, and I have NEVER been disappointed with the quality and choice), variaties of potato dishes, rice's and salads, all for one price, and on top of this you only pay for drinks! All that said, In Aarhus, I know of two decidedly buffet restaurants, with "Restaurant Flammen" being one and "DalleValle" being the other - and in my view it is here important to distinguish the time of the day to determin which offers the best "value for money". For brunch I would say that DalleValle offers the best value for money (excellent choice in reasonable quality and - especially when using their app offer - a great price). For dinner I would at any time chose Restaurant Flammen, with way better food, way higher quality, way better choice at "only" a "slightly"...

We visited Flammen Aarhus with the family during a weekend trip to Aarhus, looking for good food in a family-friendly setting—and Flammen delivered!

We had a reservation at 6 PM and arrived just in time. The restaurant is spacious, with a warm, inviting atmosphere. The staff were very welcoming and attentive, making sure we felt comfortable and well taken care of.

The buffet offers a fantastic selection, with plenty of fresh salads and hot appetizers to start. Then comes the highlight: the meats! The quality and variety are outstanding, with different cuts and types that are cooked to your preference. Whether you like your meat rare, medium, or well done, they have something for everyone, and every option was delicious.

After enjoying the main buffet, we moved on to the separate dessert buffet, which was the perfect way to finish our meal. There were many options to choose from, and each one was as satisfying as the last.

Overall, Flammen Aarhus is a wonderful spot with great food and a welcoming environment.

My first visit in strongly recommended Flammen was a pleasure. I was surprised with spacious interiors and different floors as it is not visible that much from the outside. We have arrived early so we could choose from the full range of a very good food (you go with your plate and choose from the food stalls). Everyone was satisfied with their choices (diet options, food intolerances) like: great selection of meat (white and red grilled meat, fish), vegetables and several kinds of desserts. Before Christmas time even traditional Danish rice/ milk/ almond dessert. Good drinks, local beer. We were really well looked after by the staff.
