Milling Hotel Ritz dates from 1932, is located next to Aarhus railway station and offers 62 rooms over 5 floors. The historical hotel was nicely renovated in 2012 and provides a pleasant atmosphere. Staffs are friendly and helpful.||||We had a spacious room on the 4th floor. The nicely furnished & decorated room had a desk & chair, flat-screen TV on the wall, a good twin bed, open wardrobe & no safe. A separate bathroom with washbasin, toilet and shower over the bath. All was very clean.||||The window can be opened. Good Wi-Fi. An acceptable buffet breakfast is served at the wine bar in the basement with ample variety: scrambled eggs, soft-boiled eggs, cold cuts & cheeses, bread & rolls, cereals, fruit, milk & yoghurt, fruit juice & preserves, pastries, tea & coffee.||||The Milling Ritz hotel is comfortable, and we had a nice stay....

Where do I begin? Staff welcoming us was really friendly but that’s about it. The rooms are really small. The bed, really small for two adults. Really small! Toilet glass door is pretty but does not close so everything smelly you create will smell in the whole room. Tiled floors are really really cold! No towel mats provided! Had to use hand towels to be able to walk on those. Shower curtain attacked you in the shower, it needed weights to keep it at it’s place. Breakfast is quite normal for hotels in Nordic countries. ||I understand this all is ”problems in the first world”, but still! A little consideration would have gone a long way. The hotels name is historic and it creates expectations. Maybe another name would...

We have stayed at this hotel for almost 10 years (every time we vacation in Aarhus). Each time we have enjoyed our stay at their Comfort Double rooms. The rooms are spacious for our needs (seniors age76). The rooms have always been clean on arrival. Comfy bed and pillows. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and when available they have given us upgrades. (we are gold members through Expedia). Breakfast buffets are delicious and have a variety of breakfast offerings to suit everyone’s appetite. The hotel is a couple of minutes walk from the train station.
