Bellini Café Ristorante — Restaurant in Billund Municipality

Our family was traveling to Billund to see LegoLand. All the restaurants in the park were closed and we wanted an authentic local place. Of course ,we based our choice on reviews, but could not have been MORE PLEASED! The gentleman was incredibly accommodating on many levels! We were about to leave because they could only accept cash due to their credit card system being down. He offered to accept payment via PayPal which was perfect! He offered a spot outdoors because the indoor seating was full at that time. The outdoor, which it was a bit chilly and quickly offered us blankets, which came out so warm like he took out of the dryer on high heat! Then a table opened up inside so he offered us a spot inside, which we happily accepted. After ordering and received our wonderful, very hot, very tasty food I realized I placed an order without being carful what all was included.... My sweet husband re ordered what I actually wanted, and he enjoyed all the clams and my daughter enjoyed the shrimp that came on my dish along with their really yummy pizza. So long story short. Part of me felt so inclined to leave a really negative review after feeling ghosted by the staff upon entering, and then after being seated waiting over an hour before food arrived.

But alas, the food was actually very good, and both me and my son enjoyed it a lot.

I expected a wait, given the time we went, and warned my son to expect the same, but an hour was a bit of a shock. I think something just got lost in all the chaos as the place was packed with loud noisy kids everywhere and a constant flow of people.

The prices felt more than reasonable, possibly why so many people come.

Even though i felt the wait and service was initially a real sore point, I could tell the staff were genuinely concerned and regretful of the situation and I appreciated that. They exhibited a real an authentic design to please and satisfy despite me getting almost to the point of being a ride customer.

Food was just really good so I would go again if in the area.,.maybe just leave my kid at...
