Billund Pizza Steakhouse — Restaurant in Billund Municipality

We ordered two entrecote steak meals with the included sides (sliced fried potatoes and mixed veg), and a children's meal of chicken nuggets and fries. I chose a starter of deep fried calamari rings.

The calamari were not great, but they were something to munch on while we waited (since no bread was provided). I requested my entrecote to be medium, but was more well done (barely pink inside), but the steaks were of decent quality, and they were very tasty. However, the rest of the meal: the fried sliced potatoes, fries, chicken nuggets and, inexcusably, the vegetables, appeared to all be straight from the frozen section of the local supermarket. We were not too impressed.

Service was fine, but prices were extortionate considering the above, even considering that you can't expect eating out in Denmark to be cheap, especially somewhere less than 2km from Legoland, and 250m from Lego House.

We were asked to pay in cash, because they "had a problem with their terminal", and we suspected this was not true at the time. Reading through the rest of the reviews here, I see that they tend to reject non-Danish bank cards and prefer cash. It's probably better to mention that before people sit down and order. It's quite at odds with our experiences in other eateries in Billund and with taxis and so on, where payments by card were very much preferred.

Based on the overall quality of the food on the day (and I accept that this may have just been a bad day for them), and the relatively high prices, I wouldn't ever consider going here again, and couldn't...

Disappointed - attempted price scam

We had a reservation and got a table as we were promised. We were given menus and ordered three pizzas and a burger which were quite good, so cannot complain about food. However, when we got our bill, we saw that 10kr were added to each of the dishes. When we asked the waiter to explain, they said that they had a new menu, which had higher prices. They even showed us the "new menu" as a proof. When we stated that we had not been informed about the changes in price/menu before our order, they refunded us 60kr and acknowledged that as a "mistake". Mistakes happen, so we did not think too much about it. We came to the same place the next day and expected to get those "new" menus or to be informed about the changes in price. However, same as on the previous day, they brought us "old menus", showing "old prices", and the cost for each pizza 10kr higher. When we asked them why they brought us an old menu again, and not the new one, they did not apologise and even became angry (although they did reduce the price, as we were clearly in the right). When we showed our dissatisfaction, the team leader just said loudly: "It means you are not coming back here". He is right, of course, because we do not usually fancy going to scammy places... It was quite clear that the aim was to get people pay a higher price without realising. Therefore, we would recommend avoiding this place, if possible. If you must go, it would be a good idea to pay attention to your bill, as the prices may be higher than...

You will not find a delicious food in this place if you are searching for such - definitely!

The place doesn't look very tidy and I cannot say it is comfortable to eat in such environment.

There were waiter with not really friendly attitude who was making things without anybody asking him like splitting the pizza that I've ordered by two and serving it in two plates - one for me and one for the girl with me. We never asked for that and vene though she doesn't wanted to eat anything.

If you wanna make a good impression, next time when you give the pizza, just give two additional plates, not deciding me the pizza in two plates. 👌🏽🤷‍♂️🙂

The Coca Cola is only from the machine, anyway they have bottles and asked for a bottle - he told me that the bottles are only for take away - it ridiculous, they have the bottle, if I take pizza for take away, they will give me a bottle, otherwise only draft coce... 😃🤷‍♂️ funny...

The pizza by itself was not Italian pizza at all (as it was written in the menu). The pastry was not well flavored at all. The products were cheap for the price of the pizza.

The menu was full with 4 or maybe even 5 kind of pizzas types devided by regions like Italian, Mexican, Durch etc., with at least 10 kinds of pizza each.

If you wanna make good pizza just make few types and keep the pastry and ingredients excellent. 👌🏽😉 Also start from the dough recipe - it is a must before...
