Cafe Kapers — Restaurant in Copenhagen Municipality

1 month in Østerbro and by a long way the worst food we had in Copenhagen so far. The menu had some appealing sounding items but the cost was extreme for simple things, so we ordered modestly - a scrambled eggs and bacon, yoghurt with blueberry and granola, and a fresh squeezed orange juice.

More than an hour later in a very empty restaurant at the time, we got: scrambled eggs with a mysterious, hard, grey substance through them that made them inedible, a cheap yoghurt with a single blueberry on top, just one, and an orange juice that was 100% watered down from concentrate and not fresh.

For the privilege we paid more than we have paid for some really nice dinners and lunches nearby, and that was not ordering what we actually wanted because of exorbitant pricing. Ended up going across the road to...

Lovely place to sit outside, but I sadly have to admit the waiter service was awful. She is utterly unenthusiastic about servicing us. My old colleague, a Dane and an African American, was quite surprised by the service. The waiter said three people to three different tables and waited on them before they came to take our order. I live 100 meters from the Cafe and never visited the Cafe before now I know why. I gave them four stars because it is a cozy place, but in all honesty, they don't deserve the four stars for the service they...

Waitress paid more attention to her phone than to us. We had to seat ourselves and after waiting for 20 mins for the menu, get up ourselves and get it ourselves because the staff didn't seem to care about us. The couple next to us actually had to walk to the bar to order food and drinks. When we were able to order, the staff was not very friendly. All in all, not a very nice experience.
