Legepladsen på Århus Plads was a highlight for our family during our week in Copenhagen. If you’re looking for an excellent, contained playground that’s perfect for toddlers, this is absolutely the place to go. We visited with our 3-year-old and 1.5-year-old, and both were completely happy and safe the whole time we were there.
The playground is really thoughtfully designed for little kids. There’s a great slide, a large sandbox that both of our kids loved, and a toddler-friendly swing that was just right for our youngest. The whole area is fully fenced in, which made it easy for us to relax while the kids explored and played. And even in the summer, it stayed pleasantly cool and was well shaded, so we didn’t have to worry about the kids overheating or the slides getting too hot.
