An excellent steak restaurant, the owner and chef named David welcomes the guests himself with a smile and offers something to eat. We were 3 diners and he offered us and we agreed to eat a large piece of tenderloin for the three of us at a cost of about 400 Danish crowns per diner, as a first course we received a rich and very tasty tomato soup with a stunning pesto sauce and warm bread and some salad and fried fish. Read moreWe got the tenderloin menu. You get bread and an oil based “pesto”, a starter of your choice, main, two kinds of potato and sauted vegetables, and a wide selection of sauces. Their bread and “pesto” was nice and so were the sauces. Starters weren’t the best and meat, while decent, seemed like less than the promised quantity.
Overall it is okay, good place to visit if you want an affordable steak experience, but not if you want a good steak experience. The fact that the meat wasn’t amazing, and quantity was less than expected, while there weren’t really any good sides to go with the meat and fries weren’t great makes it so I won’t go again for steak. Read moreHad a lovely dinner at Savana tonight. The hospitality and service was fantastic and it was like you were being welcomed into someone's home so warmly. The food was superb - fresh warm bread with a lovely chilli pesto dip, the meat was very nicely cooked and with lots of flavour, and the sauces were tasty. It was exactly what we wanted! A nice surprise at the end is that we spotted a couple of bottles of great Guyanese rum at the bar too! :)
