Oberra — Restaurant in Copenhagen Municipality

My partner and I visited this restaurant for dinner and tried six different dishes, all of which were amazing. The thoughtful combination of ingredients leading to well-balanced and interesting tastes. However, we found the dishes quite small. Despite trying six different plates (670 DKK), we still felt half-hungry by the end of our meal. More like a food-tasting than dining ;) Additionally, we experienced almost 30-minute wait for one of the servings with no apology or explanation. We visited Oberra to have a coffee and some food. Unfortunately they made a mistake with my food. No need to into details. It was an honest mistake. It happens. I don’t think it will ever happen again. I got a new serving and there was no problem this time. As compensation for their mistake, they insisted that we should not pay for any thing at all. Not even the coffees. They went above and beyond to correct their mistake and make sure we had a good experience, which we really did have.

Also, the food was absolutely amazing once the mistake was corrected!

We went there on a Saturday and were not pleased by the service. Every time I would walk up to the bar to order (you cannot order at the table at lunch), I would feel like I was disturbing the staff in their own conversations among themselves or friends. Not a very pleasant feeling. Food was excellent, from the mains to desserts, good reasons enough to go back. Special mention to the lemon/poppy cake.
