Madklubben Frederiksberg — Restaurant in Frederiksberg Municipality

The staff is the greatest experience when visiting Madklubben Frederiksberg. Madklubben gets three stars: one for the staff, one for the prices and one for the location, near a metro so you don't have to bike or drive home. However, food and interior leave me wanting.

The food is a mix between delicious and disappointing, however an uninspiring copy/paste mix from the other restaurants with no or few original ideas. The tartar is nice but with one too many elements. The bygotto a brown mess (both taste and looks). The sunday special delicious but served in a bucket with no real presentation that could (or should) leave mouth and eyes wanting more.

The interior has a lot of unfulfilled potential with high ceilings, beautiful floors under the carpet, beautiful walls covered by art ill-fitted to the room and its douche colour palette. If only the mix of chairs and tables in all rooms were intentional, but one of the rooms seem more like a furniture bank for other Madklubben restaurants than chosen specifically for this one.

Madklubben Frederiksberg could improve greatly if it becomes its own place in its own right, with a menu card designed for this place only, interior that suits the rooms, and perhaps something other than the latest pop...

Went there for lunch. Food was medium, but unfortunately the service disappointed a lot. We had to try and get a hold of staff so many times for simple things like ordering beverages, getting some cutlery for our food that was served without. It was everything from arrival, being seated to the whole lunch through that seemed very uncoordinated… Food is okay, but crab didn’t taste of anything, and served on wrong bread. Bread for croquet monsieur was super hard to cut through and even chew. Online menu which I had scoped out said both a regular burger and a few other things, but none of the things were on their menu and we weren’t told about it before aactually ordering where you have made up your mind. Including having a child that just wanted a burger. Then you only have plant based kids AND plant based regular burger, which was a big disappointment - for us. Perhaps it’s Madklubben moving forward but doesn’t seem like a big menu then - for instance for kids. A fish filet or plant based burger :(

I really like the vibe and location is great with parking and public, I’m really sorry but with an expensive lunch I will take my family somewhere else next time. Hope this is received...

Unfortunately we got served undercooked chicken that was still quite pink inside. Me and my husband both ordered chicken with fries and salad. I did not notice that my chicken was so pink, as I was busy taking care of my child, and had a few bites. My husband saw it and asked our waitress if its okay that both our chicken are so pink. After she brought the chicken to the kitchen, they took it back saying it indeed was undercooked. The main problem is that it is very unsafe to eat undercooked chicken, as it can lead to food poisoning with salmonella etc. Even though we got a new dish, after eating undercooked chicken I completely lost my appetite and did not enjoy our stay. Not to mention I was worried about the food poisoning for the next few days. We got offered a free cocktail each as a compensation, however that was not that attractive, as we do not drink. Otherwise the atmosphere is lovely, staff is nice. Salad, fries and children meal were delicious, desert was okay. It is not a cheap place, and in my opinion, those things should not be...
