Namaste Herning — Restaurant in Herning Municipality

I visited the restaurant for the first time today on 12/07/2025 and went for the lunch offer. I am originally from Punjab (Pakistan), and have been living in Europe for 21 years. I am very passionate about Indian/desi food and I always try to find food which reminds me of home. I can say that it was a very pleasant surprise to eat at this place. The food was delicious, well cooked and the portions were generous. I was eating with a friend who is not used to eating Indian food and he agreed that the food was really palatable and just as spicy as requested..The butter chicken was so delicious that we had to order more naan to finish it. Last but not least, a big praise for the waitress for the excellent service, and for her kindness and energy. After eating, I also had the chance to have a lovely talk with chef. The location is pretty central. The staff were courteous. I booked a table for 3 and was well received by the staff. The menu was really impressive with a good variety of choices. I really liked the choices in tandoori starters and also the non-veg main dishes. The prices were reasonable but the portions were not really generous. Coming to the food taste and quality, i must say I was very impressed with the food quality. It really tasted excellent, well cooked and tender juicy kebabs really made my evening wonderful. The Naan's were wonderful. I remember visiting a restaurant in Aarhus, which served the readymade Naan in the menu. So horrible. But in Namaste Herning, i was really satisfied with the quality and taste of the food. It really tasted authentic with original Indian spices. Thanks guys for matthe evening...

Namaste is a hidden gem! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed, and the service throughout the meal was impeccable. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, which made the dining experience even more enjoyable.

As for the food, it was absolutely delicious—authentic, flavorful, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor, from the perfectly spiced curries to the fresh naan bread and fragrant rice. The butter chicken was creamy and rich, and the lamb biryani was packed with incredible spices. You could taste the love and care put into each recipe.
