Cafe Zehros — Restaurant in Holbæk Municipality

We wanted a quick lunch before catching the train to Copenhagen. The restaurant was almost full, so it seemed to be popular. I will deduct 1 star for not having any soap to wash your hands (COVID-19) before entering the restaurant and we were also not asked to sanitise our hands.

The food was unfortunately not nice. I ordered a lasagne but received a plate of cut-out-pieces of lasagne with a thick layer of cheese on top. The lasagne was very dry, and the dish was very heavy due to the cheese. For euro 20 I would expect more value.

My partner ordered mushroom toast but received a piece of bread with a strange looking brown sauce (with mushroom) poured over it.

Not sure if we were unlucky as the restaurant was full of what seemed...

Decent steak sandwich. Not good, not bad. Potatoes and salad was made with such laziness, that it was not worth eating. Half-raw potatoes and a salad that was 'watery' and plain boring. Tomatoes were close to being ripe in consistency.

The waiter was arrogant and told us to make them aware of it, the moment they served it. No apologies or anything. Very odd considering most waiters went from table-to-table asking how other customers liked the food. No one came to us.

We went to the place as two families with children by chance, there were a lot of people eating there. The food was fine, but all other aspects were awful. We had to wait for everything to be done for a long time: waiting for the menu, ordering, waiting for the food for 30 minutes and then waiting for the receipt for 15 more minutes.
