We are 2 couples going out, dining sushi 3-4 times a year, taking turns in picking a new place to eat and this time it was not us to choose and have to admit that I was a little worried about Mr. Mu after reading reviews, BUT my oh my was I surprised in a positive way and they deserve better than that.
We all ordered sushi ad libitum and they have a wide variety to choose from. The sushi was fresh, the salmon and tuna nigiri’s melted in the mouth and the salads was delicious and the topping on the sushi’s was well balanced. As a plus, the extra dressings (Goma, Aioli, Chili mayo etc) came at no extra cost.
As 2 couples ordering each their own on 1 tablet it’s meant to be mixed together and this also happened here so we had to place extra orders a couple times but that is not something I will blame on Mr. Mu.
We sat there as one of the first couples and left as the last ones even though it’s normally 2 hours on a table. There was no rush getting us out and they even asked if we wanted to order more sushi before the kitchen closed.
The dessert was cake and/or ice cream of the day and coffee also included in all you can eat.
All in all Mr. Mu get a high recommendation from me and my experience is that you should not look at the bad reviews dated months back.
Congrats if you read all of this, now go eat...
Read moreThe food tastes good, but the portions are too small. Way too expensive for what you get. The service was terrible. Waiter didn't speak danish and only a little bit of English. Did not know what was included with the dishes. Their Sushi Bowl is actually Sashimi on a bed of rice. But the slices of Sashimi was too thin to call it Sashimi Did not include wasabi. Had to ask for wasabi and more ginger. Had to take picture of the menu outside because the waiter would not believe me when I asked for the Miso soup. I actually had to prove that the soup was included. He did not go outside with so I could prove it.
Better go to Restaurant Chop Sticks less...
Read moreVery nice food. It was very busy. We had booked a table. The 2 waiting staff there were running around very busy but did a great job. We helped by going to the bar instead of waiting for the order. The ordering system was broken so they had to do it with paper back and forth. They kept a smile on their faces while working hard.
The restaurant itself was nice. We sat by a window which was a plus. But the acoustics was a little off. Too much of an echo.
The food was nice. Sushi was ok. I ordered more food on a stick. One piece of 15 was heavily over cooked, but the rest was good.
Not bad for all...
