Food is kinda nice, but there is no service at all... We waited a long time but they never came back to check in on us... We had no drinks any more, food was finished like at least 30 minutes and we already picked what kind of ice we wanted... But after a long period of waiting we just got up and paid. Her answer was that she was busy... Mind you it was a Tuesday evening and half of the tables where empty... Guess she was too busy to check in on us atleast once an hour... It was actually my second time there... Didn't leave a review back then because it wasn't worth writing one, now it was just terrible so worth warning everyone else that might consider...
Read moreI worked at Tortilla Flats' sister restaurant El Gusto in Copenhagen somewhere in the mid-80's and during my visit today, I was delighted to find that many of the same delicious dishes I served then, are still on the menu at Tortilla Flats I know that all their food is freshly made. I even remember some of the recipes, that I have since made at home many, many times. The interior is nice and cosy, and the service is casual and friendly. Read moreWithout being able to tell you if the food was authentic Mexican food, I will still recommend it and say it was definitely out of the ordinary. The food was very rustique and delicious. The pricing was fair and there was plenty of opportunity to try more things and tailor the meal to your liking. The waiter was really nice and helpful too. I wish however maybe that there could have been some better explanations on the menu card or maybe some pictures to help the culturally deprived people like myself.
