We have been to Flammen a few times during our visits to Denmark and we are aware that it is a buffet style experience and you should not expect a steakhouse experience, but the quality of the meat was not good this time; the chicken from the grill was extremely dry. Chicago pork was decent, but two portions was apparently from the end piece and it completely white and was nothing but fat. This is not something you serve customers, it's a waste product. The two people manning the grill were also fairly unpleasant to deal with. Not a smile and the meat got more or less tossed on your plate. You felt like you were a bother coming up there. The waitresses are always a pleasure to deal with, smiling and friendly, so it's entirely possible to serve people with a smile. The various salads were good and my partner praised the salmon highly. This place is just amazing. I totally recommend it and we come here every time someone has their birthday. I would especially recommend the duck. It tastes very unique and I almost can't call it meat because of how different it tastes and how much flavor it has. I also fell in love with the sweet potato fries. They are not your usual sweet potato fries. FAR from that. I tried making them at home and I was really dissapointed because it didn't taste a quarter as good as the ones at Flammen. They have a heavenly sweet,chrunchy,warm and chewy taste. Seriously. Try the fries. Nobody has actually lived without trying those fries.
