El Mundo De La Comida Don Cibao — Restaurant in Higüey

The place is not much to look at on the outside but inside it's quite decent. It's one of the only restaurants with air conditioning. The waitress was inadequate. She needs etiquette classes as she doesn't know how to treat the customers.

The food is a completely different story though. It's presentation was beautiful and tasted as great as it looked. I had probably the best Mofongo I've ever had here. The only issue I'm outside. that they drizzled lobster sauce on it which was delicious but they should ask before doing that due so allergies. I can see how some people would have a real problem if they're allergic and someone drizzles lobster sauce on their dish.

Acabamos de salir del lugar y fue una pena. Pedimos un plato de alitas picantes y fue un desastre, el pollo estaba crudo y dicha carne casi dañada. Ni siquiera comimos nada, tuvimos que dejar el lugar a pesar de todo pagamos el plato porque no es cuestión de dinero. La solución que plantaron era prepararlo de nuevo, pero ni siquiera nos explicaron y ya por vergüenza me tuve que levantar y pedir la cuenta porque ni llegaba el otro plato tampoco. Pagué la cuenta total incluyendo el plato que no comimos y el mal momento que pasamos. No volvería a dicho lugar. La foto del pollo crudo no la voy a colgar por un poco de respeto, yo he visitado 34 lugares de comida con ese en la ciudad y sin duda a este no volvería.
