If you are Dominican I do not recommend this place. We went to visit this place at the end of February, we were supposed to return home that day but some reasons we could not do it and we stayed nearby to spend the night since our flight was not till next day and decided to go to eat at this place, since we were in the month of the independence of the island so take advantage and eat food of ours. The service was lousy, the young man who was serving us , we spoke to him in Spanish and since we could not see the menu because our internet was not working, he told us to wait for it to download. A party of 6 (dark-skinned) arrived and when they did not speak Spanish, we immediately saw how he put the restaurant’s wifi to each one of them on their phones. We said ok ( we decided to stay so we wouldn't be looking for so much and not go farther away from the hotel , it had been a very long day ) We had to reboot the router we had about 3 times to be able to see the menu. To make a long story short , when it was time to pay we paid in dollars and they gave us back in pesos and not only that , what they were giving us back the dollar they were changing it to $45 dop/1usd but charged for food $50usd/ 1 dop ( yes, you can think : is not a big difference but Avery penny counts). We decided to ask why they were giving us back in pesos and only only that why the change difference if we were paying them in dollars, their answers were that this is how they give back. Well , we told him to give us back the money back that we were going to pay him by card , they told us that it is a very complicated process to cancel the transaction and that they were not authorized .
We told them to please find us the person who was authorized to do it. Their answer: that is only done by the manager and he is on a trip, we don’t have a manager or a sup available right now. The money with which we had paid him did not appear. The young lady who was collecting the money we heard her say: that's why I don't like to deal with Dominicans, they always have a show. We were so upset to have had this experience and to have listened to what the young lady said. Our experience was not the best, I thank God that we are calm people and if we were really Dominicans who like to do a show, maybe what I was writing would be something else. They were very disrespectful and the service was not the best, can’t express how disappointed and frustrated we’re. Because of this I said if you are Dominican, I advised you not to visit this place and if you do, add "zetas" to your "eses" or talk to a foreigner language, Maybe they’ll give you the service that a human deserves.
Note: The place is cozy, the food not so delicious and the staff, not a clue about...
Read moreI let my wife to pick a restaurant that night and like a good millennium she Google restaurants near me. When we got there i ask her how you find this place, she said the only way Google. I said OMG ok i hope is good because we drove 20 minutes to get there. First of all, we didn't have reservation and we want to sit outside because the AC was blasted,. The staff was super friendly we wait 15 minutes and we got the table we want. Great ! Second, the appetizers and drinks came right out to my surprise because they were very busy. Lastly, I ordered the Tuna with chinola ( and requests no chinola please) and it was absolutely amazing the presentation was impeccable. I thought I was in NYC great quality, fresh and tasteful and huge portion. My wife got seafood pasta and it was delightful she couldn't finished, so yeah i finish for her. I definitely recommend this restaurant because the price is right and it's NOT a turist tramp. Thanks for your hospitality and we will come...
Read moreI have visited about three times already and never had a complaint on anything
First time I visited I tried their spinach lasagna and I liked it so much I even started trying to cook that dish at home regularly 😅
Always have their lasagna on the back of my head whenever visiting any other italian restaurant and ordering pasta
I have tried as well their pesto chicken pasta and it has been pretty good
Last time we visited, my husband LOVED their cordon bleu chicken with pasta and only continued to compliment it several times have having finished his plate 😂
The atmosphere is alright: a traditional italian restaurant with beautiful conventionalist subtle interior design.
The service wasnt really amazing last time we visited - it was a little bit slow and felt like you had to 'chase' waiter for any requests 🤷🏻♀️
Anyway, besides this...
