Pala Pizza — Restaurant in Higüey

Don't waste your money. I used to eat semi-regularly at Pala Pizza in Friusa (Bavaro) back in 2017 and it was good enough back then. So, when my wife and I were staying nearby Friusa for a few days we bought their 2 X 1 large special.

The dough was undercooked, even in the thinner parts. The sauce was practically non-existent and tasteless. And the mozzarella was like spent chewing gum. If you are near a Papa John's, avoid Pala and go with Papa. His 2 X 1 is everyday (not just Tuesdays and Thursdays) and cheaper. And the pizza is edible.

I had to add catsup just to get this down. Waste...

Very bad customer service by all the employees there, if you are not a native and you don’t speak their language they will make their own upgrades to make a huge bill

I asked for regular pizza and they gave me stuff and when i asked about it the cashier said its the price of pizza i can clearly see in the bill that she was playing me to get bigger bill

First time I ever had a bad experience. Ordered a cheese thin crust pizza. Received a regular crust and was told that's all they have. I eat at this establishment all the time so I know what's available. Also how in the hell you get pepperoni on a cheese pizza. I have a rare pork allergy and told them before I ordered and I be damn I pulled a piece of pepperoni off my pizza. They will never get my business again. Guess I need to stick to the American...
