SOLO POLLO — Restaurant in Higüey

NOTE: They had my first review deleted so this is a re-post. They clearly don't like honest, unbiased reviews of their establishment; well, too bad!

Beware..The food here was below average (Salty, chewy chicken and dry fries), service was slow and subpar, and I was charged more for my food because I was an obvious tourist. They might have changed it now because I called it out earlier, but as a tourist, they give you a menu with all the prices taped up, and will shamelessly charge you DOUBLE what the locals pay! Do yourself a favor and avoid this place entirely, there is better food elsewhere...

The food here was below average (Salty, chewy chicken and dry fries), service was slow and subpar, and I was charged more for my food because I was a tourist; I paid almost $20 for that barely edible food! They actually put TAPE over the regular menu prices, so they will charge you whatever price they want (you can go down there today and see this for yourself if you'd like). AVOID...
