This place blew my mind!!!! Found them through an Instagram post and decided to pay them a visit and I’m so glad I did!!!!
First of all, it’s the BEST pizza I’ve had in the Dominican Republic!!! The restaurant itself feels very high end, very elegant. As for the experience, it was a lovely noon, and was actually veeeery satisfying!!!
Their staff is incredibly attentive and friendly, they were incredibly accommodating. We made like a 100 questions and 200 jokes and they answered every single question and even joked with us. I loved the ambiance and the atmosphere here!!!!!
But I sure LOVED their pizzas even more!!!!!! We couldn’t decide so we had four different pizzas to share for four people and ended up leaving just two slides out of the 4 pies!!!! We ended up choosing: Sicilia, Burrata, La Michele, and Porcellina.
The fact that you can feel the quality of their topics by each bite you take was sooo incredible!!!
We ordered 4 pies that were completely different from each other and none of us could decide which one was our favorite. Each pizza was perfectly paired with each topic it brought, all 4 tasted like heaven!!!! I can’t even find words to describe how delicious, tasty and flavorful they all were!!!!
And after devouring the pizzas it all got better when we chose two different desserts to share. We had Tiramisu and Panna Cotta. We couldn’t decide which one was better either.
This Pizzeria became my favorite in the DR, there’s no doubt about it!!! Can’t wait to...
Read moreI was in the mood for some authentic Italian pizza, so I decided to check out Gourmet Italian Pizza in Santiago. I was impressed by their menu, which featured a variety of traditional pizzas made with fresh ingredients and cooked in a wood-fired oven. I ordered the primavera pizza. It was a feast for the eyes and the palate. The crust was thin and crispy, the cheese was stretchy and creamy, and the ingredients were tender and flavorful. The pizza was cooked very quickly, so I didn't have to wait long to enjoy it. It was one of the best pizzas I've ever had, and I give it a 9.75 out of 10. My friend ordered the klk pizza, but was not as good as mine. We gave gave it an 7.5 out of 10. If you're looking for a gourmet Italian pizza place, you should definitely try Gourmet Italian Pizza....
