Sabrass — Restaurant in Santiago de los Caballeros

Considering prices and "high class" food status attached to the restaurant I felt extremely disappointed

Service was good (we were alone) Churrasco was disappointing, overcooked, felt old, covered with too much oil, same with potatoes coming with.

They over cook everything with a lot of oil wich tells a lot by the restaurant.

I ordered a side salad it was lettuce with 4 cherry tomatoes, really?

They even extra charged me for some lime for my Perrier water, I've never seen this before.

Considering the price for not gourmet food at all I would say it's better to avoid...

Had lunch here with my wife and kid, we thought it was a nice place to have lunch, however it was not like that, the service was a little to slow to starts I asked for sparkling water and lemon, “not lime” I asked for ice multiple times, had to asked for the drinks menu(to be honest it weird to give food menu but not drinks menu with it) food took way too long for a medium rare state that was served “well done” was no rested as the blood wash away the herbs butter, a very bloody taste and let not talk about the chips nearly burn. Food was excellent, atmosphere very cozy. I’ve been coming to Sabrass for the past 3 years every time I come from New York I always come with my family at least 5 times before I go back to New York. This year I’ve been to Sabrass 4 times and the service has been horrible, this waiter is not friendly and acts as if you’re a bother and you’re begging for your food, he’s is very unpleasant and always with his Bluetooth in his ears talking crap, super unattentive.
