Jardin Cristal — Restaurant in Santo Domingo

This is a great value restaurant. The difficulty in rating this place is that it depends on ones past experiences. I have eaten authentic street Chinese, high end ,fine dining Chinese and lots of westernized Chinese. It is a middle of the road Americanized,then Dominicanized version of Chinese food. It is very much like the Chinese food I grew up with in a small Western Canadian town,in the 1970s and 80s. The food is good the prices are fair,the quantities are fine. Their Cazuela mariscos is excellent, Singapore noodles adequate ( needs more protein), Two people can eat well for 2000 pesos . My wife and I go often after church. This is a great Chinese restaurant on a budget, food is price very fair in my opinion and quality is very good for what you pay for. A little bit of a chaotic ambient on rush hours and maybe if they add delivery to their mix even through 3er party apps it would be even better overall...

Food is good and cheap. They also have vegan options in their menu.

However, the customer service is poor and hygene seems to be disregarded when they're serving too much people.
