Lucía Pie House & Grill (Cumbayá) — Restaurant in Cumbaya

Food was excellent, Rosita our waitress very helpful and kind… sadly we sat outside looking for a gorgeous romantic environment for a date with my husband and we found a loud ladies bragging about their trips to Mexico celebrating a birthday party. We keep quiet and tried to ignore them the whole time even they were very loud. I was annoyed but I kept myself calm because I was on vacation and enjoyed my delicious food… but then their server Never ( yes his name was Never) went to their table and stared interacting with them at the same volume ( very loud!!!!) I got enough!!! Call my server and complain… next thing I know NEVER was in my table telling me that Lucia is a familiar restaurant and they can be loud as much as they want and HE is on charge because the manager is not there!!! Food is good but if NEVER is on the schedule you won’t have a good...

Great service and good food -- my only complaint is the portion sizes.

"Lucia" must mean "very small slice of pie" in Spanish because that's what I received. For $6.49, I expected a decent sized slice of pie, but instead received about 6.49% of the pie.

Don't get me wrong, the pie was delicious, but disrespectfully small. I should've taken a picture to share, but the slice was gone so fast, I didn't get the chance.

My meal came to almost $40 for one person -- a hamburger, juice, and a "slice" of pie. Not really necessary to spend that much in Quito for what I ate. Probably won't return, unless they plan on giving me the other half of my pie slice...

Primero, la comida es muy buena! El risoto de mariscos y la pasta que comimos tienen un rico sabor. El tiramisú no es muy dulce lo cual me gusta mucho porque me empalago rápido con postres con mucha azúcar. El café espresso estaba muy bien hecho. El ambiente es diferente al de muchos restaurantes y esta interesante! Las diferentes áreas para comer me gustaron, hay algunas en el jardín, algunas internas y otras cerca a la cocina. El entretenimiento en la mesa nos hizo amena la espera; tienen un mantel de papel grande, entregas crayones y sobre este se puede pasar un buen rato pintando con la familia. La rapidez en la preparación de la comida me encantó. El servicio a la entrada fue bueno, demoraron un poco en tomarnos el pedido, no hubieron cubiertos ni servilletas en la mesa y demoraron en atendernos con el pedido de los postres y la cuenta. Visitamos este lugar a la 15:00 de un sábado, pienso que fue una buena hora ya que no había...
