Restaurante Nuum — Restaurant in Cumbaya

One of the best restaurant in Quito (Cumbaya)! Yes, it is pricey but YES, it is worthy. We don't mind to pay for quality. The service is excellent! Everyone is nice and professional. Chef José comes to your table to present and explain you the menu of the day (as they only work with fresh ingredients ), and he guides you according to your desires and preferences (while taking into account everyone’s allergies). We ate amazingly and spent an incredible time, they make you feel home.We were 4 adults and 2 babies of 6 months, we stayed from 1.00PM to almost 8.00PM ;) We left with a huge smile as our bellies were fulled of tasty food and great cocktails and wine. Speaking about wine, they have a great selection and their range of price is totally correct ( we got 2 bottles, 1 white from Spain at 40$, and 1 red from here at 45$). We can't wait to go back there in January! Ps: they have their own oyster...

I didn’t know anything about this restaurant, only judged it by the reviews, and it’s incredible! Giving it four stars only and not five simply because they don’t have a menu which is something I don’t particularly like (also because this way you have no idea about price) however come here if you want to be surprised by amazing flavors and food. I think it was the most expensive lunch I’ve had but it was a great experience...

A wonderful place, great food tailored to your preferences and what you feel like eating. All dependent on the local produce available that day. The quality of the cooking and flavours was excellent and the waiting staff were brilliant. A little off the beaten path if you’re visiting Quito but absolutely worth the $7 Uber! Expect to spend about $50-60 a head for food with drinks on top, superb value...
