Beautiful coffee shop, though on a quieter street and kind of remote. As a result not much of a crowd- potentially a good thing if you're looking to get some work done (though it did pick up as I was leaving).

Yum: Beautiful decor, calm atmosphere, and hip contemporary (though not distracting) music. Strong wifi, that was great. Service was good too, they let me try some of the beer before deciding to just stick to a latte- 10 ounces so a good size and very delicious.

Yuck: none really, just be prepared that the drinks are quite pricey-...

We tried Café Traviesa in Quito for breakfast. The place is clean and nicely decorated, creating a cozy atmosphere. We started with a Blue Mango Tea and a Flat White—both were excellent. For food, we ordered Tigrillo, a well-known Ecuadorian dish, and the Cacerola 4 Quesos. Both plates were flavorful and satisfying.

To finish, we shared a hazelnut croissant, but unfortunately, it didn’t meet our expectations.
