La Cevichería Guayaca — Restaurant in Guayaquil

The service is a 2/5 some people have good service most of it not. The most important part, the food. The quality of preparation is terrible, there are flies on the ceviche station, the man who prepares them lacks of higiene, he smacks the spoon against the thrash can and continues using it. The chifles have flies over them too, food that is gonna make you definitely sick.

About the flavors, too salty what makes the ceviche loose the important flavor of seafood.

Wonderful little place! Food is fresh and exquisite. The taste of the dishes we tried with my mom was so authentic. I happened to be from Ecuador and sometimes it’s hard to find the restaurant with the “autóctono” flavor, but Cevicheria Guayaca has it all, the presentation of dish, the quantity, price the flavor and service are just perfect. I would definitely come back, I hope they don’t change anything, the way that it is now is just PERFECTO!

Great place to have a cebiche. They have 4 diferent styles for them and you can taste fresh sea food. The restaurant is usually very crowded but you will get seated soon. Not a great place to have a quiet and long lunch or dinner. There is a theme to the restaurant which is a market, the idea comes from the belief that the best food is street food. This place combines both, great food at a good price but with restaurant service. DO visit if you like...
