After much anticipation P.F. Chang’s has finally come to Quito! I was super excited to try it out and as was looking forward to the experience. It didn’t blow my mind but it was good. The food was good; meat was tender and flavorful.
The menu offered here is limited and doesn’t have all of the dishes but it comes very very close. I didn’t see the desserts on the menu here but did see that they had advertised a chocolate cake but it wasn’t on the menu.
We ordered the Singaporean noodles, Mongolian beef and the northern style spareribs and some lucky lotus cocktails. The total came out to be approximately $86.00 for two people. It’s not a cheap meal for 1 appetizer, 1 main dish, 1 noodle dish and 2 cocktails. But the portion sizes is good and we actually had some leftovers to take home. The main dish comes with a side of white or brown rice and the ribs came with some spicy coleslaw.
Overall it was a good experience with friendly service and the food was served at a good time with a minimum wait time. I would definitely come back but probably only for a special occasion as the price is a bit steep for what it is and for it to be a...
Read moreWe were 4, went there yesterday to try. It was pretty empty around 7 pm. Food was expected like the other p. F. Chang branches. Medicore, not really authentic, be fair to say its in quito, you can't expect more. The deco is decent compare to other chinese restaurant in quito. Price of dishes a bit on the higher side, a Singapore street food noodle charge usd17 We order 1 dumpling +2 noodles and 1 eggplant, 2 teas and a coke cost usd 90. 24, we saw the bill added tax and service charge, So we pay a 100 bill+ 0. 25 Coin hope that we get back usd10 Rather than 0. 75 Coins. They went to the cashier machine more than 10 minute and come back with tons of small coins, perhaps 50-60 coins in the smallest value. What the hell? IF They expect we give extra tips They can give 5 dollar bill+few coins, why they give me so many smallest coins? Then we ask another waiter to give us a usd10 bills. He took away the coins, and return with a 10 dollar bill. I leave the comment to...
