Unprofessional and unacceptable — the worst service I’ve ever experienced.

Our visit to this restaurant was a complete disaster from start to finish.

Upon arrival, we were left unattended for 40 minutes before anyone approached our table. During that time, we tried to get help from multiple staff members. The female staff on duty told us they "don’t take orders," and when I asked for a baby chair, they ignored the request entirely.

Eventually, a tall waiter — visibly disinterested, unsmiling, and unprofessional — came over and took our order. From there, things only got worse.

We waited for over an hour after placing our order, with absolutely no updates, no service, and no communication. Meanwhile, tables that arrived after us were being served the exact same items we had ordered. We attempted several times to get the waiter's attention, but he went out of his way to avoid us and wouldn’t even make eye contact.

Out of frustration, I spoke to another staff member who seemed more alert and asked him to check on our order since the kids were getting hungry. He whispered something to the tall waiter — and that was it. Still no food. Still no explanation.

Eventually, we had no choice but to leave. As we walked out, none of the staff acknowledged us, apologized, or even seemed to care. It was as if this level of poor service was routine.

This place has no sense of hospitality, no professionalism, and no management oversight. The entire staff, including the manager, needs urgent retraining — if not replacement. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone under any...

Dear Management Team, I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to formally express my concerns regarding my recent experience at your Montazah branch of Zanels Restaurant. As a loyal patron of your establishment, I was disappointed by several aspects of my visit, which I believe warrant your attention. Firstly, the reception upon arrival was far from welcoming. The host seemed indifferent and lacked professionalism, which set a negative tone for our dining experience. Hospitality is essential in the restaurant industry, and a warm welcome can significantly enhance a guest's experience. Secondly, I observed several issues that hinted at poor management. Horrible experience there!

On 25th of july, 2024, it was a Thursday, i went there for the first time with family and friends. We were waiting to be seated in a suitable table in the down isle by the sea and sand when another costumer just jumped onto the table we were about to be seated on and sat there and the staff didn't do anything to them, not even tell them that it is reserved.

The service is horrible. We asked someone to clean the table we were sitting on as it wasn't clean about 5 times then i cleaned it with my wipes and my perfume. Finally when they came to clean it, they used dry tissue paper that was on the table and guess what, it wasn't a clean one, it was used.

To order the food there , it takes ages and the desserts are totally different from the menu. Also they said the ice cream is melting so we couldn't order ice cream beside any dessert even though it's included with that dessert.

Simply they are just trashy cafe, not even close to one star.
