We finally came to try Tomato after years of hearing good things. Unfortunately, we must have gone on a bad day because the two dishes we ordered were completely bland and tasteless. Even the kimchi just tasted of sweet vinegar, no spice. Spicy fried chicken was just fried chicken, bibimbab just tasteless rice and some vegetables, could hardly find any beef and again tasteless. We were really disappointed and felt cheated for such a high price for what was essentially rice and vegetables with no taste. Maybe because we went during Ramadan and assume the kitchen staff are Egyptians and maybe this is why the food was lacking and tasteless. It was an amazing exprience. As an Egyptian there is a huge difference between the Korean culture and ours, but I've always been interested in the culture so trying Korean food was a must. Buying their ingredients and supplies from S.Korea and cooking their food with complete exprience in the restaurant encourages you to eat there. Nice food, a clean environment and good service. You should really try eating there, and if you're afraid that you won't like the food the waitress will reccomend you food that is similar to Egyptian food, there are a lot of dishes that are not bizarre and actually nice but even the food that is a little odd tastes good. I always loved the food there, it’s amazing. The portions are great compared to the price. But I’ve always had a comment on the service that there’s some kind of an attitude but I didn’t care much tbh until last time I was there, we were already finished.

One of the waitresses was cleaning the table and left, there was another one, I really hate to mention this but we paid in card and I wanted to leave some tips in the small box they gave us. The girl just took the the money once I put it in that box! I didn’t even put it away! That was so weird and embarrassing and obviously she didn’t want to split it with her colleague.
