MACAN Restaurant River Walk — Restaurant in New Cairo City

To spaced out tables, Macan gives you a private fine dining experience in a public place where you can enjoy fresh and fast service food at it's best, even on busy days.

Staff was super friendly, we ordered @ 5:30pm and the food came all at the same time at exactly 6:07pm which was very convenient, food came out hot and fresh.

• Tandoori chicken was very soft and tender, however, for those that like to eat a lot, it might not be enough.

• Milano chicken & pink sauce on pasta was very delicious, although the sauce was a bit too much on the pasta.

• Trio Fajita was decent. Best taste of the three was the chicken as well as the shrimp. The meat was very hard and had to pull hard while biting to eat it. I'd recommend chicken fajita over the trio mix.

Cordon Bleu, Mushroom Chicken Mushroom, and Monterey Chicken were beyond amazing. Very large pieces that can fill you up as the chicken is very soft to the bite and melts away with all of it's flavors in your mouth.

Overall experience 10/10 for friend outings or a sweet little date, totally recommended! I'd recommend booking beforehand if you're more than 5 in order to find a table on weekends as it...

Food is okay... Not bad but not the best I ordered grilled chicked with mushroom and mozzarella cheese on top. The mozzarella needed to be heated a bit more. I also had sauteed veggies and mashed potatoes as side dishes. The carrots, mushrooms and corn in the sauté were absolutely delicious but the zucchini was overcooked thus not tasty. The mashed potatoes needed to be heated and its sauce wasn't tasty

The indoor area is small and suffocating as they allow indoor smoking (shisha and cigarettes)

My favorite restaurant for having a delicious breakfast “ always my top choice” but breakfast only i didn’t try it for lunch. I recommend the english breakfast for the taste, the portions, the variety and the reasonable price. The breakfast is served with a plate of bread loaf, olive paste, butter and jam “free”. A drink is served with the meal “fresh orange or American w/wo milk”. I prefer the outdoor seatings when the weather is good “ cold breeze & sound of birds”.
