Worst service. Rude waiters.
The restaurant system is pay first, Then you are stuck with the bad service.
We were told that every person gets a salad. Not true. The waiter refused to serve a salad for each person. He instructed us to share.
We were told that every person gets any kind and all kinds of sauces. Not true. The waiter refused to serve one sauces per person of the kinds we want.
He said that he will make the decision to serve more if he sees the sauces finished. We told him we don't want all of those sauces. We want specific ones. He refused and argued that this is their system and we have to respect the system.
I said I should eat what I like, not what he likes. He said: it doesn't work this way here.
The waiter asked us to share those tiny sauces that can be finished with a couple of bites.
We were told that every person gets a bowl of rice. Not exactly.
I made very clear request not to bring the meat if the salad and the sauces are not served. No luck. They brought the meat before the sauces and the salad. I asked the waiter to heat the meat or bring sauces and salads quick. He refused. He said that we have to share.
I don't share the same tiny bowl with others for many reasons, one is health reason. Unfortunately, you have to take the risk and obey the system.
Food smell was not good. It smelled like sheep ranch.
I was embarrassed with my international guests and I couldn't eat well or enjoy it.

Read moreOutstanding experience with family in North Teseen, New Cairo Egypt. Located in the ground floor of the Trivium, an upscale getaway in the heart of New Cairo. Nice reception and waiters. Our visit was late about 11 pm that is why the restaurant was peaceful and not crowded. We selected our table comfortably. Our first and most important mission was to visit the Cheif corner to select the meat type you prefer. This was great experience especially with the expert knowledgeable and understanding staff. The whole experience was western and amazing. You pay for meat only other dishes, sides, drinks cold and hot are included unlimited. Great service and respect coupled with extra cleanliness and etiquette. However, take care as it is very expensive. I paid more than 8 thousands Egyptian pounds (almost US $170) for 3 persons which is considered expensive even in this level of top notch restaurants within the USA! I would recommend Meat Moot restaurant with the only reservation of cost. Definitely I will come back whenever I am...
Read moreVisited the branch on 20 of July at 11 pm . The shop is usually open till 3 am ( last order at 2 am) . This is normal in Egypt 😀 When I arrived I was surprised that they only have 2 options for the cow meat and non from the sheep meat. The funny thing is that when I went to choose I was asked if I want cow or sheep ( although they do not have sheep ) then when I knew that there is only 2 options available out of 4 from the cow I came to know that they do not have sheep options at all It is really surprising that they have still 3 hours to go and they have only 2 option out of 7 in the menu . Although the guy started to justify why that I have added that should not be the problem for the customer It is not a cheap dinning option and the customer should not face this situation. Frankly speaking they done their best to get fresh stock which arrived 30 min later . My expectations is that the fresh stock should have been their before they go out of stock and never put their customer through this
My advice is to call ahead...
