Berro’s — Restaurant in Cairo

It was the worst food for all my life. I love the Nox very much and go here a lot, to meet friends, to visit the art gallery and nail salon. And of course I tried almost all places here, but yesterday was the most awful dinner in my life: the salad “endive + oranges” was completely killed with the balsamic vinegar, no taste except for terrible acidity and bitterness. Next in my order was fish tacos, the dish looked nice but instead of any taste of fish or veggies I felt only the fire in my mouth. The only tasty food was complimentary bread and salted soft butter.

The manager of this cafe can’t solve the issues with such cases at all, started offering me another food (another salad, desserts) instead of apologies and removing this awful dishes from my bill. How can I eat anything if my mouth is burning and my stomach in pain????

That’s a sad story when amazing interior and beautiful kitchenware don’t mean anything, everything was spoiled with awful food and...

It's not easy for me to find a place I could give 5 stars these days. I went there on the recommendation of a good friend who works in the hospitality sector, and was not even slightly disappointed;

The menu is rich, varied and has enough items to cater to your likings, and the recipes are unique. I was spoiled for choice, but we tried a little of everything, and we loved everything we had, I really commend their presentation, quality and quantity too! The food was absolutely DELICIOUS.

The place is nice and cosy, it's style and decor were very pleasing, and I found the chairs/couches to be mostly comfortable.

The service was great too; and the prices were not cheap, but given the prices in similar New Cairo restaurants that offer sub-par food that isn't even half as good, they were understandable and fair.

Berro’s was the highlight of my trip to be honest, I was looking forward to have dinner in this restaurant and I can assure you I was not disappointed at all. From the beautiful palette of colors in the decoration, to the special paintings of a local artist , to every mini flower bouquet set on each table, this place is so soothing to the eyes and inviting. The twist in every single dish served at our table, the superb service and attention to details provided by the staff.. All ingredients were fresh, amazingly presented and I overate that night because I didn’t want to miss a single thing!
