This restaurant is not very good. I say this coming from a person where fried fish and crab boils is apart of my cultures original food. The food is not properly fried or seasoned, they're not frying the fish properly either, the batter is too greasy because the oil isn't hot enough when fried. Theyre frying full fillets which makes for a soft mushy piece of fish that falls apart in the basket. They're using bread crumbs or pancake batter as batter to fry chicken instead of classic flour which would taste much better. Who uses pancake batter to fry chicken??? The Cajun seasoning is off. The "boil" bags lack flavor it's just melted butter, no seasoning , lacks salt. Everything is over priced for the quality, this is one of the most expensive restaurants I've eaten at , with the worst food and smallest portions.
Also it's not a family place if you speak English. The entire time there they're playing trap music, talking about drugs, guns and sex. I guess the Management has no shame, because he speaks English. Maybe they think they're catering to Americans by playing the filthiest music on earth. I told the management the food was bad, they offered a discount, 50egp off from a bill that was 1450 . We didn't even finish the food we gave it back almost instantly. Bad experience . I've eaten at many fish places in Cairo this place is the worst so far. Fried fish at the sooq is much better . Don't waste your money....
Read moreDive into a world of shrimp delights at this restaurant! From grilled to fried, they offer every shrimp variation you crave. While my taste buds danced with delight over most dishes, I couldn't help but notice a slight overcooking of the shrimp. Nevertheless, this minor hiccup did little to dampen the overall experience.
The menu's creativity is impressive, featuring shrimp prepared in ways I had never imagined. The garlic butter shrimp melted in my mouth with a burst of flavor, and the crispy shrimp tempura was a delightful contrast. Each bite was a reminder of the ocean's bounty.
The restaurant's ambiance and attentive service added to the positive experience. The staff's knowledge about the dishes and their recommendations were spot on, contributing to a memorable evening.
Despite the minor setback of slightly overcooked shrimp, I'm eager to give this place another shot. The potential for an exceptional seafood feast is evident, and I believe a revisit will offer the true shrimp perfection I know they can achieve. If you're a seafood enthusiast, this restaurant is still worth a visit for its inventive menu and...
Read moreI had high hopes for this restaurant, but sadly, it didn’t live up to my expectations. The spices used in the dishes were puzzling—I couldn’t tell what cuisine they were meant to represent. They certainly didn’t feel Egyptian, European, or American, Not even the famous Asian cousin
I tried two different sauces with the shrimp, hoping for something unique, but both were overwhelming and hard to enjoy. The flavors were simply not to my taste, which made the experience quite unpleasant.
While I was initially okay with the high prices, spending 2,000 EGP on food that I didn’t enjoy left me feeling disappointed and regretful.
I later discovered that the restaurant is Saudi, but the spices didn’t seem to align with the flavors I associate with Saudi cuisine either.
In the end, it was an unfortunate and costly experience that I...
