TEA HOUSE / MAISON DE THE' — Restaurant in New Cairo City

The staff is not professional at all. The place us no longer maintained (tables not clean, chairs & tables broken & staff are not well trained to deal professionally with customers).. had the worst experience today despite that this is not my first time having breakfast there.. we asked nicely the waitress to clean the tables as they were dusty and i was shocked that she came and swiped the table with her finger to validate my request and with her facial expressions she showed me that she’s not happy with my request in a very RUDE way as if the customer is lying and when i asked her if there is something wrong with my request, she confirmed that she already cleaned all tables and that’s why she’s sure that tables won’t need to be cleaned again, i showed her that the dust is everywhere and asked her to bring her manager as this is not a nice way handling the customers.. she simply told me he’s not here and if he will come while i will be still there, maybe she can let me meet him!!!! Of course, i left the place and i won’t come again.. what a shame! It’s sad how a nice place turns to a horrible one in no time having no proper supervision on the staff quality and even the place maintenance from cleanliness to even the serving plates that are...

Dont recomend getting main dishes or Appetizers ordered the crusted chicken with mushroom spinach pasta what we got is burned fried chicken with white sauce pasta we sent the dish back and all they did was add a few mushrooms and what tasted like parsley ! The dish was not as described in the menu in addition to being overly priced ! The mozzarella sticks was acceptable I think they are more ready to serve baked items and coffee do not recommend it for...

The best croissant I have tasted in Egypt. Like local bakeries in France. Mostafa is a real special person with lovely friendly character and outstanding quality of service. His colleague was too, unfortunately didn't catch his name. I haven't tried much else, but I will vouch for their freshly baked croissants any given day without a shadow of doubt!
