Coco Restaurants Madinaty — Restaurant in New Cairo City

Sadly some of the worst food we ever had in a really long time.

We had Seafood rose pasta, Rigatoni Stroganoff Chicken, and a Buffalo Chicken pizza.

All three were absolutely horrendous. Pasta was very undercooked and the waiter claimed it's a "part of the dish".

Barely any chicken or seafood in both pasta dishes. Both dishes lacked flavor. We had to return the regatoni which was really unedible. We took the seafood pasta takeaway for the stray cats.

The Pizza, which was also horrible, was better than the pasta dishes. It wasn't oily, the crust was meh but the cheese was good actually, but there was barely any buffalo sauce and the chicken was so overcooked and dry it draws moisture from your mouth.

Service was doing their best with a smile and tried to help us but they are obviously understaffed and unorganized. It showed in their faces that they knew the food was horrible.

The atmosphere would have been cool if it wasn't so damn crowded with waaaay too much tables to fit in as many customers eager to overpay to get low quality food.

The food was super good and the portions were great so price for quality and quantity is great however the service was horrible. We were told to wait inside u til a table was cleared and we could see several table empty but the waiters seem to be just floating around lost and not knowing what to do despite the place not being super busy and packed. Once we were seated we ordered and its took the food more than 40 minutes to arrive . We had ordered appetizers too but for some reason they decided to bring the appetizers with the main dishes and the waiter would come every 10 mins saying we are bringing the food all together thats why it was late and when it came it was the appetizers with only 2 main dishes and we had to wait more for the rest of the main dishes. Also two tables people seated after we ordered and got their food before us actually it was in less than 10 minutes and they had ordered the same...

The food is not bad but it doesn't match the price. I would expect better from them. I personally hate when any chicken dish is done with minced chicken instead of whole chicken breast so the cordon bleu was awful in my opinion and completely unnecessary since you can easily make cordon bleu with whole chicken breasts and it is more common even in restaurants that way. The creamy lemon chicken was an absolute joke it's just one small breast cut up for some reason?? and cooked in a very normal tasting white sauce. I would never recommend this dish. The italian chicken was very nice a little untraditional but I appreciated it. For Ramadan, the atmosphere was very lacking the Ramadan vibes like you can barely tell they participated in the festivities which was disappointing for all of us.
