Waiters scam you by writing higher prices on the bill in arabic so tourists cant read and pocket the extra money plus ask for extra tips. They dont give you a physical copy of the menu so you dont know the exact price. The owner should train his staff not to steal peoples money. I ordered small koshary for two people which costs 10 egp each, acter we finished the waiter told that it was medium kosharu and charged us 25 egp each. Staff bring you extra items without mentioning it is not part of your order. When asked if it is included, they only said ‘if you eat no problem, if you don’t eat no problem.’ Asked 2 more times, ‘is this extra money?’ Answer on the last time: ‘yes of course.’
