Fish Mart Seafood — Restaurant in South Sinai

I went this place several times in May (5 times). Food used to be good and I loved this place before the incident. But things changed completely. I no longer trust them and I cannot remember his rude behavior to royal customer.

And it was first visit after holiday season, and it was first time that they refused to show electronic printed bill for my orders. The price of the same fish I used to eat, jumped ridiculously and the waiter gave me hand written bills with inaccurate total amount. At this point I lost total trust.

I am not a person who try to get discount for everything. But I know that average monthly salary of Egypt people is 5000. But he gave more than 4000EGP with inaccurate calculation. If you want to deceive some tourist, please check whether they can do mathematics and dumb enough. There were no menu which is cannot be divided by 5, but the bills first letter was 1 (I don’t know why).

In Sharm El Sheikh for the first time and after a really disappointing dining experiences elsewhere, dining at Fish Mart completely lifted our spirits.

Set right in the heart of the Old Market, the location itself is such a vibe — with the mosque, bustling stalls (lots of obvious fakes but part of the charm 😂), camel rides, and a stunning old-Egypt backdrop. Highly recommend a walk around after your meal.

Anyways, at Fish Mart, they have an a la carte menu, but if you want a seafood platter, you can hand-pick your seafood fresh. We went all in with lobster, king prawns, red snapper, crab, and squid; the whole meal, with tips, guava juice and bottled water, came to about 3200 EGP. For the quality and quantity, it was soooooo worth it.

The flavors were spot on, everything was cooked perfectly, the juices were refreshing, and the service was warm and attentive.

The restaurant and even the toilets were very clean.

A very clean fish restaurant in old market in Sharm El Sheikh. The staff is very kind and friendly. We have selected big size good quality fresh fish which was more or less 1 kg, half kg of fresh shirmp, six kind of appetizers like baba gounnush, tahini, eggplant salad, green salad and the others. The chief of restaurant has prepared the fish and shirmps in grllled and they have been very delicius and we have liked them a lot. The account receipt is prepared in Egyptian Pound and also $ and €. The restaurant is reliable and worth to eat fresh meals. Our meals costed 384 EP=21$=19€ and i have paid as $. So we were happy to eat the fresh and delicus meal in this restaurant and we thanked to owner and all staff before leaving. I...
