Ghazala Hotel & Restaurant — Restaurant in South Sinai

ABOUT THE HOTEL: I made booking though the Booking.com map. I needed a hotel in center of Dahab. And on the map this hotel was like I need. But in fact this hotel is in other city. My friend booked same way. So in fact Ghzala Hotel deceive their clients. Booking.com do nothing with this. Price was average for Dahab Lighthouse , where is expensive. But as I told Gzhala hotel deceive clients about the location of the hotel. So if I would take in Ghzala’s area other hotel I would pay 2 times less. Again fraud from this hotel Rooms are completely different from photos. In fact you will get here ugly, old, bad smelling, dirty, and broken room Everything was broken. The sink was leaking, fridge doesn’t work, shower drain is full of *, and doesn’t work. In rooms they use black bed linen on the bed. Do you know why? Because whey hide bedbugs in the mattress!!! Instead of regular sleeping bedcover you will get blanket without duvet cover. And this blanket never been washed. It is yellow from dirt. The hotel is near two beach restaurants-clubs, and you will be sleeping in 50 meters from big club spekers. On the weekend local people party until 5 AM. Image how is to sleep with arabian club music outside without any noise cancellation. I left my and my wife’s bicycle in hotel territory. I didn’t understand why the chain was flew off. Twice. And some night I went to shop and saw that one bicycle was missing. I went to the reception, and understood that hotel employer’s friend take my bicycle in the night to use it. I never get my...

Beyond Disappointed!

We stayed at Ghazala Hotel for 4 nights. We booked both a single and a double room. While the check-in and check-out process was smooth and the staff were friendly (4.5/5), they weren't always professional. We had to follow up multiple times to get things done.

Room impressions:

AC: 5/5 – worked very well.

Cleanliness: 3.5/5 – acceptable but not excellent.

Mini fridge: 1/5 – barely functioning.

Bathroom: 1/5 – outdated, with a broken bidet that wasn’t replaced despite two requests. The toilet handle was also broken.

One of my biggest disappointments was the breakfast, which is included in the package. I ordered it while sitting by the beach, and it was brought to me within two minutes, demonstrating clearly it was not freshly prepared. It consisted of a flavorless one-egg omelet, unpleasant fava beans, and a literal teaspoon of white cheese with tomatoes. I'm not exaggerating. It was barely edible. 0/5.

The saddest thing is that I’ve always loved Ghazala’s café. It used to be one of my favorite spots in Dahab with consistently excellent food and drinks. That’s why I chose to stay here. But this experience was far from what I expected.

Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend the hotel, nor would I consider returning unless serious improvements are made. The place has real potential. I hope the management takes this...

Though it's my regular place to stay at each and every night whenever am in Dahab, I've never thought on writing a review on it.

Overall Ghazala will be my favorite place away from the noisy streets of the Souq or Lighthouse.

Its the best place that offers a Seaview 🪣💺, sand seating and chaise longue 💺right infront of the sea 🌊 shore and waves.

The mood at night is very causy and chilling, it's a must to have a nice drink along with the sounds of waves and the dim light almost to no light surrounding.

A restaurant with normal seating, another causy place to stay at with lots of bean bags and cotton cushions.

Don't miss the Moon Rise 🌚🎑 at some of days, it's a fabulous rare thing to watch specially in Dahab with the Moon Reflection.

Their menu is full of beverages and dishes which I truly love.
