We heard alot about Ramez & Poala and the first impression i got was "this must be one of those overrated restaurants in dahab" and boooy was i wrong.
We were welcomed by Ramez and Paola, they were very welcoming and very nice indeed, they gave a seat by the beach and the view was insanely good, along with the calming atmosphere and good music I could'nt ask for more!
The food was so tasty, Shrimp pizza was damn fine, thin crunchy crust topped with high quality cheese and tomato sauce, felt like a curb side pizza in Napoli (which is really good), My mom ordered their fine fettuccine with smoked salmon and shrimp, as soon as it touched her mouth, BOOM, a flavor bomb! Sauce was not too heavy, it was right on the sweet spot, salmon was not overpowering shrimp was a little bit small but it was good! My only problem is, and i think it is a common problem that the food was covered in fat, but it was expected since this is how Italian food supposed to be, it was just a little oily but it didn't stop me at all from enjoying the food.
Fast friendly service, good tasty food and a fresh calming atmosphere, what more do you need? A well...
Read moreThe first two times we ate here (and the only times Paola was present) were great. Wonderful, friendly atmosphere, delicious Italian food. And so, we returned a few more times, hoping to repeat the experience. But with each visit, things became worse and worse, with the only difference being Paola's absence and Ramez's (prominent) presence. During our most recent (and likely, last) visit, the other week, Ramez was drunk and so rude with customers and staff that I was left with a bad feeling for several days (specifically after seeing him give his chef the middle finger and insulting him in other obscene ways). We were there the same night as the two previous reviews and can confirm what they say. Ramez is prone to kicking you out if you drink your own bottle of water or have the audacity to sit at a table that disagrees with his business sense. The food is a lot more expensive than in other pizza/pasta places in Dahab and the quality (of the food and the service) is inconsistent at best. That said, if Paola is there alone you are likely to have a better experience. The setting is the restaurant's only...
Read moreI loved the place I spent 5 days in Dahab, tried a new place everyday and this was my favorite slot I shared various dishes with my friends 1- Tomato soup, it was quickly served and had a great consistency however it lacked salt but you can just sprinkle that 2- Shrimp Pizza, it had an adequate amount of shrimp on top and the sauce was complimenting the flavor, the pizza itself it very thin and perfectly baked 3- Salami Pizza, salami is not really my favorite add on to pizza but it was good 4- Lasagne, AAAAMAZING, seriously the best dish I had there, served flaming hot, a great portion, well infused flavor, it could use some more meat but overall it was fantastic 5- Beef escalope served with red sauce pasta and fries, the beef was perfectly cooked and very tender, the portion relative to price is huge, it was everyone else’s favorite dish, the red sauce pasta had great seasoning and flavor, I loved it and the fries well 🤷🏻♀️, fries 🤷🏻♀️ 6- Tiramisu, it was nice and light, could use more coffee but the sugar amount was perfect to my personal taste, if you prefer sweet desserts don’t go for it, it’s...
