We booked a tour including Blue Hole, Camel Safari, and Quad Bikes, and unfortunately, the reality was completely different from what was described in the offer. I would honestly call it tourist deception – they write one thing, but you get something completely different.
Communication with the operator was good — he answered all our questions and requested a deposit on the same day. However, the excursion itself was very disappointing and did not meet our expectations at all. We regretted booking with this company.
Here is what was promised in the description versus what we actually received:
Pick up and drop off from the hotel by Jeep – ✅ included Snorkel equipment (mask only) – ❌ two times the mask was damaged and had to be replaced Lunch – ✅ included Camel ride to the Blue Hole – ❌ promised a ride to the site, reality was just 5 minutes in a small circle Quad bike (40 min) – ❌ reality was about 15 minutes
It was also originally stated that tea was included — but this was later removed from the description.
The only positive aspect of the trip was that we were the only two participants, so we had a bit more flexibility with timing compared to larger groups. Still, there was a constant feeling of being rushed, as if the driver just wanted to finish everything as quickly as possible.
The camel ride, described as a “camel safari to the Blue Hole,” turned out to be a 5-minute loop, similar to a circus ride, without even being offered the chance to take a photo. Immediately afterward, the handlers started asking for tips. All of this also happened in a large, chaotic crowd of other tourists brought there for the same purpose.
The quad bike ride took place before the camel ride and was also rushed — just a short 15-minute circle instead of the advertised 40 minutes. Again, it felt like being quickly seated, driven around, and finished. Luckily, one of the staff members kindly took a few photos and videos for us, but even that was done in just a few seconds.
Next was snorkeling — during which we were given a damaged mask twice, and only on the third attempt did we receive a functional one. As a result, we lost a lot of time. The organizers also didn’t explain where to go or how to swim, and everything was extremely chaotic and disorganized in a huge crowd. They suggested joining a guided group, but the guide spoke only Arabic, so we had to wait about 30 minutes before getting into the water and figure everything out by ourselves.
Overall impression: I do not recommend booking the quad bikes or camel ride as part of this tour. If you want to do these activities, book them separately. The snorkeling itself was wonderful, and the reef is beautiful, but make sure to choose a time when it’s less crowded, as the large number of tourists can make the experience stressful...
Read moreI found this company last minute online and overall I can say that I did enjoy my experience with them. Although there was some sort of miscommunication upon my arrival at the Taba border and saw no one there waiting for me as promised, I was able to get the Visa to Egypt on my own. Then I found someone kind enough to help me contact them and they hired the guy to drive me to Dahab city where someone met me and put me in my hotel room. I was picked up as scheduled to hike up Mt Sinai but I was not informed that I had to take all my belongings with me....thank God my Bedouin guide carried my heavy backpack and helped me up to the summit for the very beautiful scenic sunrise. In the morning when I got down the mountain, a driver was waiting to drive me to Cairo for the day and I was very glad because the original schedule was to go back to Dahab and ride the bus all night to Cairo. So I was happy to be able to rest that evening and get to bed early to make up for no sleep the night before. The next morning a local guide and the same driver picked me up to visit the pyramids and I bought a ticket to visit INSIDE the Great Pyramid because I didn't have a clear understanding, I ended up just visiting the grounds without going inside the Great Pyramid due to long lines and wasted my ticket which I wouldn't have purchased. After that I was brought to a restaurant for a free lunch buffet before being driven back to the Taba border. The drive took about 10 hours which was grueling as there were checkpoints almost every hour and road work at certain places. I offered the driver a hotel stay because he was going to drive straight back which I thought was not right but the hotel did not allow the driver to stay....no Egyptian is allowed, so they say 🤔🤷I was also brought to 2 shops where the salesmen try to get me to buy essential oils and papyrus paintings. I did buy some essential oils from the Egyptian Perfume Palace which seemed good to me...
Read moreUnreliable. They do not admit their mistakes.
I went to their office in Dahab with the goal of organizing a climb to Mt. Catharine. I wanted to climb Mt. Catharine and not Mt. Sinai (Jabal Mousa). Mt. Sinai is crowded with people climbing in columns. I wanted to go to another peak, which is not so popular.
In the agency I explained the man and asked 5 times: Mt. Catherine, not Mt. Sinai. He said: yes, ok.
We got on the minibus in the evening. There were eight other people there. We reached the foothills and started climbing to only halfway realize that we were on Mt. Sinai.
The next morning I went to the agency and said I didn’t get what I wanted. The employee excused himself that everyone was going to Mt. Sinai, that it is common. We called the owner. He said the same. Not a word of apology.
I asked them to compensate me for their omission with a lower taxi cost to the airport. They said: no problem. I called them three more times that day. They said: no problem.
They never called or offered anything for compensation.
If you have a choice, find another agency. Stay away from these people. Their relationship with people is bad, they don't keep their word, they don't...
