Restaurante Pasquale — Restaurant in San Salvador

Walked in and everything was fine great service until we had asked if possible to changed out a dish we order due to the quantity being very low quality. The server told us it wasn’t possible, which was fine. It was not great at all, the ravioli tastes nasty sorry not sorry but it tasted old and was cold. The fettuccine bolognese tasted like chef boyardi. The steak with the mashed potatoes that we chose the steak was so salty it was not edible. We told our server that it was so salty it couldn’t be eaten, he did nothing but ignore us and walk away. We asked a different server for lime at least to dilute the salty steak and that didn’t even help. The pizza I can say was okay. And our food was just cold, we spent a good bit waiting for our food. But the server overall was very rude and was gone the entire time, we couldn’t find him to ask for certain things we needed. He would just walk around and didn’t bother coming up to us asking how was everything or if we needed something. The service was terrible, especially for it being our first time coming there and while being on vacation. I can just go on about our experience but the thing that has me in shock was when we asked for a discount on the salty steak and our server said okay that’s fine, the other server who had served us the lime gave us a dessert. We see that the steak was still being charged and told our server and he said that the other server gave it to us “out of courtesy”. From my understanding I would assume that would just be a free dessert but eventually he took it off the bill and only charged us for a side of mash potatoes and was rude the entire time with an attitude. Llegué al lugar con altas expectativas respecto a la última vez que visité este restaurante cuando se encontraban en el antiguo local. Mi primera impresión fue de un restaurante sencillo, nada de lujo pero ordenado y con meseros que ofrecen buena atención. También debo decir que llegué a almorzar en medio de la semana laboral. El almuerzo estuvo fatal, pésimo. Prácticamente nos sirvieron lo que tenían. Uno de las personas que me acompañaban reclamó que había pedido un plato diferente al que le sirvieron. Yo pedí un plato de cordero acompañado con papas. Lo que recibí prácticamente eran las sobras que habían quedado de un plato de cordero porque me llevaron pedazos de huesos de aproximadamente cinco a diez centímetros de longitud y tan delgados como un puñado de palillos de dientes (para que te hagas una idea) acompañados con papas francesas exactamente igual a las que te sirven junto con una hamburguesa. Dos pedazos de tomate y media cebolla asada. Decepciona que al reclamar al mesero me dijo que tenía razón, que habían cambiado de proveedor y que los platos no se servían así, entonces por qué me cobraron US$ 27 únicamente por ese plato? No soy una persona conflictiva y huyo de las discusiones, por esa razón no quise seguir discutiendo. Prefiero no volver a ir a los lugares pésimos como este. Para ser justos lo único bueno que probé fue el antipasto el café expreso y el tiramisú, Mi recomendación es que si quieres comer comida Italiana vayan a cualquier otro lugar, seguramente será mucho mejor que Pasquale y mucho más barato. Don't go there. Their parking attendant tells you that he'll watch your car but mine was broken into, valuables were stolen while we were eating in this restaurant.

The owner Pasquale, didn't even bother getting up from his table, said it was not his problem. Even though the parking attendant told us he would watch our car.
