Definitely a hidden gem. I've been several days in Tallinn and decided to take a day trip out of town to see a bit more than just one city. I went to Haapsalu to see the ruins of the castle/monastery, and on my way back towards the bus station, I passed Taksi Pubi. It looked unassuming from the outside, but it was cold and I had a little time to kill before the bus. Wow! Funky interior. In a cozy, good way. There is not other place in Estonia where you can try the very traditional local cuisine with a very reasonable price. The particular decoration inside makes the place an extravagant but cozy place.
