Please avoid this place. No one could speak even a single word (“hello”, “tere”) in Estonian. Luckily my mother can speak Russian, so we placed our order. We paid a reasonable amount for five persons, 53 euros. We had to order our food from the counter because they said to us they are not serving any tables from outside area (the place was empty, it was sunny). After 30 minutes of waiting we started to think that maybe something had happened with our order. During that time no one came to our table (we moved inside) or brought us bread, knives, forks etc. After one hour the situation was exactly the same - still no food or no explanation.
I went to the server to ask what’s happened. Since none of the waitresses could speak Estonian or English, I had to use Google Translate (English to Russian). The waitress lied to us that there was no electricity in the kitchen (there was, you could see the kitchen) and that it will take more 15 minutes (she did not even consult with kitchen about her answer). After hearing that, we decided to ask for a refund. They did not decline, and I invited my mother to the counter to be sure of the exact amount. Two of the waitresses were arguing and fighting in front of us in Russian, and then told my mother that the bill was instead of 53 euros 43 euros. In the end, we wasted more than one hour, heard their fighting, and they robbed us 10 euros. Never go there!

Another one was constantly on call with someone. The waiting time was around an hour or so, despite us not having ordered anything unusual, until we confronted the staff about the issue. The response was highly unprofessional and arrogant, though after said interaction the food was delivered to our table almost immediately. The supposed-to-be-warm dishes were cold. I believe it is basic restaurant etiquette to serve dishes at once, or at least in smaller intervals. Two dishes, that had been served quicker, lead to two people sitting and waiting for circa 30-40 minutes, because the rest hadn’t received their orders. In conclusion, it is safe to assume the staff simply forgot about us and yet not a single apology was issued: not for the late servings, not for the first shattered soup bowl, that, in no shape or form, was our fault. It is humane to make mistakes, but the service, and how they handle things in that establishment,...
Read moreLoved it. We just wanted to grab something to eat after having spent some time by the riverside and walked in Ranna Resto. The atmosphere was pleasant, peaceful music, amazing view.
The girl taking our order was very patient with our messy attempts to decide on all the dishes for ourselves and our children. The wait for our food to arrive was longish, but not dramatic and once the food started arriving it all was fast and efficient.
Our food was beautifully presented, tasty, very fresh ingredients... Really, it was just great.
A separate topic could be the service. We interacted with two members of the stuff, both were very friendly, readily answered all our questions and explained everything we were asking about. Plus, the girls were super friendly with our children, too and their interaction was so sweet too observe.
If we are ever in Narva again, absolutely...
