Berlin's Tavern — Restaurant in Rakvere linn

This restaurant is one of the best in Rakvere. It's very quiet during the week days, and dining is pretty fast. Most of the waitresses speak English very well. Positive: Good food and good beer. Service is averagely fast and English friendly, which is not easy to find in Rakvere. Negative (or "improvable"): The wall cover is not of the best choices... The parking area is not big, you will have to park on the road, but most of the times the parking is empty. It's a good restaurant for families with kids. The bread stays on a table in the middle of the restaurant... I felt uncomfortable going there to cut my own bread...

Visit got really short. Sunday afternoon and the outside terrace was pretty much empty with 2-3 visitors. Im a cyclist, finished my longer weekend bicycle ride and asked the waitress if I could put my bicycle somewhere in the corner close - a bit fancier road bike that I dare not to lock somewhere around the corner. Anyway she was slightly confused and said there is no room for this - clearly not the case. Tried reasoning very politely, but did not help. I responded that then I have to drink my beer someplace alse and she didnt care at all. Well - I guess their business is going well enough. We stayed in Rakvere for a weekend during a film festival and luckily, we decided to come eat here on our first day. The place is cozy and looks clean, which is a first plus.

I had the hamburger and my partner a dish with salmon and both were huge and really good. Our cocktails were good as well and the service was nice. Needless to say, we came back the next day, and despite the place being a lot more crowded (Saturday night), we didn't have to wait very long for our food.
