Simple Resto — Restaurant in Tallinn

I hate to be the first one who gives this restaurant a review that happens to be a rather negative one. This place was recommended to us by our friends, who were very satisfied with their last visit, hence we gave it a go. The tables on the terrace really needed some dust wiping. Upon ordering we found out that almost all of the beer from the menu is missing and that some items from the menu (like cheese plate) was missing as well. When my “steak with asparagus and vegetables” was brought it had no asparagus. It turned out that there was an issue with the delivery and a lot of things were missing today, which has really let the whole impression down. The food was good, although lacked a bit of salt and there was a little too much of (what we think) cilantro in Tartar and Gazpacho. The staff was very friendly, the food presentation was great, but the overall impression was a bit unsatisfactory....

It was my first time to Simple Resto after a few years break, and this visit left a very nice impression. Sõrnikud were just amazing just like green leafy tea. Very elegant design, soft background music, friendly people. I'm looking forward to trying other dishes on their breakfast menu.

Last time I tried their omelet, it was interesting. I'd like to have some salad and sourdough on the side.

Breakfast menu that you can find from their website is not accurate at all, when you go to the restaurant you can see they have shrinked it to only three options: porridge, croissant and omelette.
